The aim
Gulbanis Wine was founded end of 2006 to participate in the revitalization of the Bulgarian Wine Industry and to re-establish its former greatness within the ranks of the European Wine Producers, through production of outstanding Quality Wines.
THE ESTATE
The Gulbanis Wine Estate, comprising two vineyards and an area for wine processing, is located in central Bulgaria, north of the Balkan mountain on the outskirts of the village Gorski Dolen Trambesh.
Both vineyards are situated at an altitude of 320 meters, above mean sea level and comprise a total land area of 50 hectares, each vineyard being 32 hectares and 18 hectares respectively. The area assigned for the future wine processing / storage facilities is 3.2 hectares.

The ambiance of the area is breathtaking and tranquil with views to the Balkan Mountains on its horizon. Bordered by the river Yantra and mildly sloped from east to west, combined with an outstanding soil texture and climatic conditions, the vineyards are perfectly suited for the growing high quality vines.
Construction of a state-of-the-art design Winery is planned to commence prior to 2013 for operation in 2014. The Winery capacity will initially process 500 tones of various types of grape berries and be increased to 1,000 tones by 2016.
In the interim, between now and 2014, Gulbanis Wine will outsource its wine production and bottling to third party wineries which comply with the requirements of its wine technology consultants and in-house wine technology expertise.
